And even with a great interview process, things don\u2019t always go to plan. Sometimes the fit isn\u2019t right. Sometimes candidates change their minds. Sometimes life just gets in the way.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That\u2019s where a replacement guarantee comes in. It\u2019s one of the best things about working with a recruiter; and it\u2019s there to protect your investment and reduce the risk when hiring.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At Motion Recruitment, we take our guarantee seriously. Here\u2019s how it works, why it\u2019s structured the way it is, and what you should consider when evaluating any replacement policy.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>How Does a Replacement Guarantee Work?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our guarantee is straightforward:\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If a candidate we place leaves or is terminated within 3 months of starting;for reasons like poor performance, incompetence, or negligence we\u2019ll find a replacement at no extra cost.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The same applies if the candidate resigns within 3 months. If a candidate can\u2019t perform in the role, or if they\u2019re not committed to staying, it usually becomes clear within that window. It also covers scenarios where candidates accept an offer but continue interviewing elsewhere (yes, it happens).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">But here\u2019s the reality: once a candidate starts and is working under your direction, our influence drops off quickly. What happens in those early weeks has a huge impact on whether they stay.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That\u2019s why it\u2019s important to:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Deliver on what was promised during the interview<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Provide a structured induction<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Create a supportive, engaging environment from day one<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A guarantee is a safety net, not a substitute for onboarding and retention.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>What If You Want More Than Three Months?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Some clients ask if we offer longer guarantee periods. And the answer is: we can, but like any insurance policy, extended cover comes at an additional cost.\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">That said, if you\u2019re genuinely concerned about the risk of someone leaving early, the best investment might not be in a longer guarantee; it\u2019s in making sure the role, environment, and onboarding experience are as compelling as possible.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Preventing the issue is always better than relying on a fallback.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Why Is the Replacement Search Exclusive?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Our goal is to fill your vacancy, not compete with your internal team or other recruiters. If you choose to engage others, that\u2019s totally fine, we&#8217;re happy to collaborate, but once the role is filled, the guarantee ends.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">So, if you&#8217;d prefer us to take full accountability and handle the search from start to finish, exclusivity allows us to focus and deliver the best result without duplication or confusion.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>What If We Can\u2019t Replace the Role?<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">If despite our best efforts, we\u2019re unable to find a suitable replacement and both parties agree it\u2019s not going to happen, we\u2019ll issue a Credit Note, valid for 6 months. This credit can be used once, exclusively with Motion Recruitment, on a future role, so it won\u2019t go to waste<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Peace of Mind<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You never want to use a replacement guarantee, just like you don\u2019t really want to make an insurance claim.
